NO EXPERIENCE NECESSARY
The introductory program is designed for athletes will little or no experience in the sport. Athletes will begin learning the basic mechanics of the rowing stroke using indoor rowing machines before progressing on the water in four and eight-person rowing shells.

FOR ATHLETES THAT HAVE COMPLETED INTRODUCTORY ROWING
The novice option 1 and 2 sessions pick up where the introductory program leaves off, guiding athletes through a patient and focused development of the fundamentals of rowing technique On the water instruction is generally preceeded by training on the indoor rowers at the beginning of each practice. While competition is not a focus of the middle school program, older and more experienced athletes will have the opportunity to join the high school competitive program if deemed appropriate by their coaches.
