Youth Novice Rowing and Coxing

The novice program is for athletes that are within their first year of rowing or coxing. This program will use an intensive and methodical approach to technical and physical development of athletes so that they may learn to move a rowing shell quickly and effectively. As athletes reach the appropriate skill level, they will begin to compete against novice atheltes from other local and regional teams in a competitive season culminating in a northeast district championship which includes teams from across 7 states. Athletes coming from a previous season should register for Option 1, while athletes enrolled in the second Introductory Option will register for Option 2.
