FOR ATHLETES THAT HAVE COMPLETED INTRODUCTORY ROWING
The novice program is for athletes that are within their first year of rowing or coxing. This program will use an intensive and methodical approach to technical and physical development of athletes so that they may learn to move a rowing shell quickly and effectively. As athletes reach the appropriate skill level, opportunities to compete against novices atheltes from other local and regional teams will become available. Athletes rowing in the fall (and winter) should expect to have a solid foundation to begin competing regularly and succesffully in the spring season, which begins with numerous local competitions and culminates in the state and regional championships.
